Self-Aware artworks
For this project, I chose to change all of the handwritten words on three pages of my comic book to text so it would look neater. I finished this project in 2022. This comic book is about a little girl named Maya, who was afraid of everything. I was challenged to create a work of art that acknowledges the fact that what I am creating is a work of art. I chose to write and illustrate a comic book that explains to children that they shouldn’t be afraid. Some difficulty that I had with this project was coming up with a story.
